AIMEX IIS

Fuji machine manufacturing has completed the development of the All-In-one Assembly machine AIMEX IIS. The AIMEX IIS takes over the popular AIMEX concept with additional flexibility and extensibility.

The significant advance of this generation in electronics and communications we owe the printed electronic circuits. These boards are built by surface mount, with the component placement machines as the centerpiece of the production line. The AIMEX IIS satisfies the growing needs of the companies to a flexible production with variable mix of high performance and versatile product mix with small batch sizes.

Functions/properties

  • Feeding of large amounts of different components: In order to process the large amounts of necessary component types, 130 slots for different taped components offered. The wide-ranging supply of components, in the tapes, sticks or trays is made possible by the simple change of feeder units.
  • Perfect for high-mix / low-volume production: changeovers are optimized by the large amount of feeders for conveyor (up to 130 components) together with the special software “Multijob Line Balancer”. The high-mix / low-volume production requires a lot of program changes. The optional Multi Job Line Balancer can summarize production programs, optimize and quickly create an optimal set-up plan to minimize set-up times, easy to swap with the possibility complete set-up groups.
  • Independent dual track production: This machine allows a dual-track an independent production of various printed circuit boards at the same time. With this setup, it is possible to perform a change on one track while the other track is on production. This means that a production line, such as two lines can be used.
  • Supports many different board sizes: The AIMEX IIS supports small PCBs from 48 x 48 mm up to very large PCBs from 774 x 686 mm (30.47″ x 27″). In this way, efficient production of a wide range of sizes of printed circuit boards is possible, small, such as in mobile phones and digital cameras or larger for networking and notebooks, as well as extremely long for LED and LED TV panels.
  • Support high components: components with 38.1 mm (1.5 inches) Height can be equipped with the Head of the AIMEX OF IIS. This allows the machine very high components, such as large Relays and LAN connector to be fitted, as they are commonly found in the automotive industry or on the motherboard; simply by replacing the component supply.
  • Shorter setup: With the multi-feeder unit all setup groups can be exchanged at once. If the optional off-line Power Supply Unit used, all tapes can be disarmed at the feeders on the MFU outside the machine by pressing a button. This makes the external change more quickly and effectively.
  • Efficient support of flexible productions through the introduction of new products (NPI): The Auto Shape Generator (.. automatic creation of part shapes) on the machine will be the standard in order to shorten the time to introduce a new product in series production. When using the NPI will support the production continued at a fault during the image processing process quickly because the necessary changes to the image processing are automatically generated from the error image. This reduces the effort and cost for new products.
  • Selectable configuration of the XY axes: Due to the possibility of selecting the XY axis, the single/-dual track that production can be tailored to your company.

AIMEX IIS heads and many of exchangeable units (component feeding facilities, camera units, and other optional accessories) will be shared with NXT series. The AIMEX IIS inherits the flexibility of the NXT series and can, as the NXT flexibly configured machines are for different production requirements.

It is possible to extend a line for the high-mix/low volume production with an AIMEX IIS with additional feeder slots to add more placement robots.

The flexible Assembly machine AIMEX IIS provides a machine solution as used for smartphones and tablets in the contract manufacturing for the mass production, such as for low-volume production with large and complex components such as relays and connectors for the control systems of the automotive industry.
